Due to illness, we unfortunately must cancel Poetry club this evening. Our sincere apologies as we always look forward to gathering. We will reconvene at our regularly scheduled meeting on May 29 at 7pm.
A reminder of what we're workshopping follows:
Do a personal "rewrite" of Robert Frosts famous poem "The Road Not Taken."
This workshop has no right or wrong. Just your creative interpretation of Roberts words. In this activity, the goal is to "paint a word picture" by using descriptive words to tell Mr. Frosts poem. Close your eyes to see the visual colors painted by your words. LIink below:

Hello my fellow poets!
Our "assignment" for this month is to take the famous poem by Robert Frost "The Road Not Taken" and do a personal rewrite. There is no wrong way to do this. Just re imagine or take a personal approach to your poem.
REMEMBER to "show not tell" this means use descriptive words to paint a visual of what you are trying to say, rather than only words to tell your story. Please feel free to message me with any questions. Have fun with it!!
